I purchased this belt in red and black. I usually wear a 14/16 or 0x/1x. Just the right about of stretch and give… you don’t want it to be loose. I my opinion they fit perfectly. It doesn’t roll when I sit… it’s about 3″ wide… Just a note:… the red one shows a gold tone clasp in the picture… both the red and black belt I received have silver tone clasps… which is what I was hoping for. But… just in case that matters to you. Now… they are pretty cheap… the clasp and the belt… but I am using with a costume.. so I am ok with that. If you’re looking for a real “quality” nice looking belt with a quality clasp… this one probably isn’t for you… But if you just need a cinch belt for a costume or for fun.. this belt is great! I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. And I hope this review was helpful to you!

Great for my Halloween costume, which required a red belt over a dress. The closure isn’t adjustable but the belt is very stretchy, so I had no trouble closing it and it was comfortable. (for reference, I weigh about 140 lbs and I’m 5’4″ – pretty average for a young woman.) I’d wear it with other clothes if it went with any of my sweaters. It seems like it’d hold up well enough to wear frequently, considering the price.

This belt looks exactly like one of the vintage pieces I own in a different size. Some people may be unhappy with the construction, but you must remember that it is a vintage replica – that means the construction is replica too. A helpful tip to get the best look: if you are on the higher end of a size, buy the next size up. When you wear it, situate the bottom of the belt at your natural waist to prevent rolling. Also adjust the belt so that it stretches evenly or so that the area near the buckle isn’t over stretched. If the area near the buckle is pulled too tight, you can see where the ends are glued.
